I believe that we get to make the rules, that we get to choose, that we get to craft the exact life that has been waiting for us. And when we do, we become fully alive.

To pursue my love for all things beautiful, I gained formal training in Applied Art from the Rachana Sansad School of Applied Arts, Mumbai (Photography major) and thus began my journey in the kaleidoscopic world of art.
Originally from Mumbai , I followed my husband to Delhi then Singapore & now currently in Hong Kong I enjoy working as a freelance visual artist.
After graduating I experimented with Fashion photography, styling & graphic design & it took me 6 years to realise that it takes all of these & more to create something that most of my existing clients can relate to, & show a steady interest in my work.
The process of my paintings is borne of an image popping in my mind, which must be immediately documented or it fades. I dont really think consciously when I create, it just comes.
BESPOKE ART. SEEING VISIONS THROUGH OTHERS EYES.
My love for digital painting started while experimenting with photoshop tools, usually starting with line work it ends up with hundreds of layers in photoshop.
I started by selling my paintings to friends & word of mouth clients. That progressed to getting requests from friends who were decorating new apartments to random facebook friends to make a bespoke painting to go with the decor or some thoughts in their minds or even the need of filling up an empty wall!
Feeling like a sponge gathering several symbols, shapes, colours, textures, patterns and themes from the clients minds I connected them to each other through object relation. Which cannot be sensically described or explained, just certain things seem to relate to each other!
PURSUING ORIGINAL LOVE. GRAPHIC DESIGN.
While I wait for inspirations to occur for paintings, Iam busy taking briefs for creating logos based on bold creative thoughts. Being a freelancer lets me work more closely with the clients needs & ofcourse cuts the overhead costs by half. Every mark has to have a purpose.
